Take the small end of the cable and run it through any opening in the truck bed that it will go through. The most common applications are the factory installed tie-downs that are normally in the four corners of the pickup bed. If these are not available, run small end through one of the stake holes that are present in all pick up beds.

Then run the small end through any item you wish to protect. Most any item will have a way to run this cable through it.

Snap the small end of the cable into the lock portion at the other end, and you have created a loop that is now locked and protecting your property.

When not in use, be sure to roll the Security Snake up and return it to the storage pouch that way you'll always have it when you need it.
